Leslie Lundy, Principal

 Leslie Lundy is in her third year as Principal of Everglades Elementary School and 26th year with Okeechobee County Schools.  Prior to her position at Everglades, Leslie has been a teacher, reading coach, assistant principal and Director of Grants and Special Programs.   Before beginning her career with the school system, Leslie received her AA degree from Indian River Community College, a Bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida and Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.  Leslie loves the position of Principal and is rewarded by the pride Everglades Elementary students take in being an Everglades’ Gator as well as the gains students have demonstrated.  She accepted the position because she felt it would be a professional challenge in her career and she feels it was the right decision.  Leslie looks forward to continued growth and achievement for the students of Everglades.

Billy Ball, Assistant Principal

Edward Ball received a Bachelor's degree from University of Central Florida and Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to his position at Everglades he taught PE at YMS for ten years.  Billy was also a boys/girls basketball coach and Athletic Director. In his free time, he enjoys spending time boating, fishing and anything else involving salt water.
